What Can Be Saved After A Fire?

After a fire damage occurs a lot of the structure can saved. It always depends on the severity of the fire damage as to what can stay and what needs replaced. For example a small kitchen fire that pushed smoke throughout the home may only need to be cleaned down and repainted. Whereas some severe fire damages may result in the entire structure being demoed down to the studs. Some of our projects we have worked on included removing part of the roof system and rebuilding from what remained. The key materials we usually always remove in a heavy smoke damage are: insulation, drywall, carpet, and flooring depending on the type of floors.
