Tornado and Hurricanes in PA?

In the Chambersburg are many of our homes and business are not prepared for a storm even like hurricane or tornado as they are not very common to make an impact in this area. However if and when they do that can cause serious damage and a costly expense. This expenses may not be included in your average insurance policy and may need to be specially requested to be included. During April 2019 yet to be confirmed but possible a tornado touched in St. Thomas PA to a local business. During the occurrence of the incident no warning for tornadoes at time were in the local weather.  It caught the business owner by surprise and required some major cleanup effort. Surprising the property adjacent to it did not occur any damages, not even the car cover blown off. SERVPRO of Chambersburg was able to provide security control by boarding up windows and garage doors that were broken or flew off.
