Rainy summers can cause your home to flood in Chambersburg

Rain Rain Go Away. During Summer 2018 the rain events caused more damage than other years resulting in flooding basements. This home recently had been remodeled and the water entered in a window well flooding it out with muddy water. 

SERVPRO of Chambersburg arrived with our moisture meter to determine the work was needed to effectively dry out the property. 

The flooring was lifted up and drywall was removed where necessary then the air movers and dehus were placed for about 3-4 days to run consistently to dry the studs and flooring. Then to clean up the residue of mud. Now the customer is ready for their contractor to complete the repairs.
