Fire Damage on Main Street in Chambersburg, PA
This before photo shows the damage caused to the inside of a building during a fire. A lit cigarette discarded in a trashcan in the bathroom started the fire. The first level of the building is used for a non-profit organization and needed completely restored while the second level, which is used as apartments, just needed some cleaning and paint. Because of the age of the building there were some issues SERVPRO ran into, such as the several layers of flooring and ceiling to go through, required code upgrades, and structural issues that had to be re-engineered. The after photo shows how well the building looked after SERVPRO of Chambersburg restored it to the pre-loss conditions.
