Fire Damage In Chambersburg

This bathroom was damaged after an electrical fire. Although the damage does not look exterme what happens is called etching. The tub, toliet, and the vanity sink was all ecthed to the point that could not be cleaned. The longer the items sit with soot on it the better chance that item will be etched. The floors were removed as well due to water damage that was caused from the fire department while putting the fire out. After all the old items were disposed off the homeowner took the opportunity to move the wall out a few extra feet to make the space more usable.
